Posted September 28, 2018 05:17:38Apple has announced its next-generation MacBook Pro, the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display (Intel Core i5), will be released on September 29.
The new laptop is also available for pre-order for $1,099.
While the company’s MacBook Pro 11, with the Retina display, is already available for purchase for $999, this new model will cost $1:99 less.
Apple’s new laptop comes in two sizes, 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch, with 1366 x 768 resolution, a 3,200-nitres liquid-crystal display and an Intel Core i7 processor.
It also has an optional Core i9 processor.
Apple said it will ship the new MacBook Pro in October.
Apple has said the 13.2-inch model is the most affordable laptop in the 13, but it also supports an optional 15.4-inch display.
Apple says the 1366-by-768 display is a “world-class display for professional professionals who require an edge-to-edge display for their high-end computing needs.”
The 13.4″ MacBook Pro is also the cheapest laptop in its class.
