Google has launched a new desktop computing machine that it says will become the next major computing platform for the world’s population.
The company says the new desktop, called the Google Cloud Platform, will help businesses to create, run and scale new apps and services.
It’s part of a broader push by the company to expand its digital footprint and become a global player in the world of software.
It says it’s also launching new services that will make the platform more secure, such as its new cloud storage service Google Drive.
But for now, it is just a laptop that runs Google’s desktop operating system.
It has been developed by Google’s data centre and hardware development group.
It is the first major desktop computing product from Google to be launched in this way.
The device is about the size of a normal laptop, but it comes with a touchscreen display, four USB ports, a headphone jack and a microphone.
It also has a built-in Wi-Fi 802.11ac Wi-fi chip and a Bluetooth 4.1 standard.
It will be sold as the Google Nexus 10.
