Intel Corp., maker of high-end personal computers, plans to sell off its computer division.
The announcement from Intel was made Wednesday at a conference at the tech giant’s headquarters in Santa Clara, Calif.
Intel CEO Brian Krzanich said the company’s computer division will continue to grow.
The company will be sold to Intel in the third quarter, Krzanik said.
Intel, which was founded in 1982, has a $2.5 billion market value.
