You don’t have to spend hours installing a keyboard, or even buy a new one, just follow the steps below.1.
Unplug the computer from power source2.
Plug the keyboard in.3.
Use the “Computer” menu to add the keyboard.4.
Click on “Computer keyboard” to add it to your home computer.5.
You will now have a keyboard for your computer.
To add a USB keyboard, follow the same steps.1, Remove the keyboard from your computer and plug it into your computer’s USB port.2, Open the “Software” menu and click on “Add” button.3, Choose “USB keyboard” and click “Add”.4, On the “Add a USB Keyboard” page, enter your USB keyboard serial number.5, On “Add an additional keyboard”, click on the “Additional keyboards” link.
If you are adding a keyboard from another computer, click on your keyboard in the “Device” drop-down menu and enter the serial number of the USB keyboard you are using.
If the computer is already plugged in, click the “Remove” button and wait for it to remove.6, If the computer does not have a serial number on it, the serial numbers are added manually.
If all else fails, go to the “Back” menu of your Windows 10 device, and click the serial and/or MAC address of the computer that you want to use to connect your keyboard.
You can also use this same technique for a USB flash drive.7.
Once the serial code is added, click “OK” to finish.
